Following the launch of our service in Galway City Museum we are working in conjunction with Galway’s renowned professional photographer Joe Geoghegan at the launch of his Exhibitions in multiple locations in Galway city. We have developed a mobile app displaying a selection of his work, more or which can be seen on Joes website here.

The secret of Cork Week’s success cannot be attributed to any one rule or aspect of it’s organisation. It’s success is found in the eclectic mix of classes, competitors, good courses, good company, our team of dedicated volunteers and the good humour of our 10,000 visitors.

MediaPort teamed up with the Cork Week organisers to develop and distribute a Java app detailing the Events guide, Race scores and live information feed direct from the organisers.

We have teamed up with Failte Ireland to promote the Cork Clipper Festival starting July 1st 2010. Our java app wil be distributed locally over our Cork City proximity Bluetooth network.
The app gives a guide to all the Teams, Nghtly events and general latest info direct from the Cork Clipper Festival team.

We are currently in final testing our Galway Mayo Institute of Technology Students Union mobile application. Once the SU elections have been decided we will populate the “People in your Union” section and we will go live.

We are pleased to announce our Galway United Airtricity League app for season 2010.
The app brings you the full league fixture list for the 2010 season with updatable scores, live Latest Club Info feeds and novelty content for your phone including ringtones and wallpapers.

Blackberry installs
Download the Java version to your handset. After downloading app to your handset, go to applications on your BlackBerry phone ( or on home screen depending on Theme) scroll to the “Media” icon > Click the “Media” icon to launch it > Press the menu button and select “Explore” > Locate the .JAR file either on the device memory or memory card (check both as the Blackberry seems to just sort of stick system memory and card memory together) > Click the file, and it should prompt you to download and install > Click “Download” and you will begin to install .jar files on your BlackBerry phones.
